When will Jake Paul fight Mike Tyson? New date, time and how to watch

Fight has been rescheduled for November 15 – and will still take place at the AT&T Stadium in Texas

Mike Tyson’s fight with Jake Paul in Texas has been rescheduled for November 15 which will also host light-welterweight champion Katie Taylor’s rematch against Amanda Serrano
The original bout between the 57-year-old and YouTuber-turned- prizefighter had been set to take place on July 20.
However, the showdown was postponed on health advice given to former world heavyweight champion Tyson after he was diagnosed with a flare-up of an ulcer problem.
Tyson reportedly became unwell while aboard a flight from Miami to Los Angeles during May and needed medical assistance.
The fight has been rescheduled for November 15. The original bout between Tyson and Paul had been set to take place on July 20.
The fight will be held in Arlington, Texas at the AT&T Stadium. The 80,000-capacity stadium is the home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys and hosted the 2011 Super Bowl.
The fight will be exclusively streamed live on Netflix. A paid subscription will be required. A standard subscription plan in the UK costs £10.99 a month.
Tyson hasn’t fought professionally since June 2005, but he has been training regularly for several years. He fought Roy Jones Jr. in an entertaining exhibition in Los Angeles in November 2020.
“Although we had to postpone the fight, I will resume training shortly. I am thankful to the medical staff that treated me and to MVP, Netflix, and AT&T Stadium for working diligently to find the best reschedule date for all parties,” Tyson said in the statement. “While we have a new date, the result will be the same no matter when we fight. Jake Paul is getting knocked out. On Friday, November 15, watch this in-person at AT&T Stadium or live on Netflix.”
Since the showdown being postponed, Lennox Lewis has come out in support of his former ring rival, Tyson. He told Sky Sports, “It’s hard to box when you’re that old, moving around the ring, throwing punches, getting punches thrown at you, but I think he can handle it.”
Texas boxing officials have sanctioned Tyson’s meeting with Paul as a legitimate bout with eight 2-minute rounds and unusually heavy gloves. Tyson will turn 58 before the fight, which will be streamed on Netflix in what’s likely to be a massive payday for both fighters.
Tickets already purchased for the fight, which was to be held at the Dallas Cowboys’ home stadium, will be honored on the new fight date, promoters said.
The 27-year-old Paul is a YouTube star who has forged a successful prizefighting career mostly by taking on mixed martial artists and journeymen boxers.
“My fans know I don’t want to face Iron Mike at anything but his best, but let there be no mistake,” Paul said. “When he steps into the ring with me, I will be ready to claim my W with a sensational finish.”
